The US is planning to conduct a military operation on Iranian territory from land.

Currently, the White House of the United States is carefully studying the possibility of conducting a ground military operation in Iranian territory. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
However, many experienced military analysts are issuing serious warnings about such a step. Iranian territory is rich in mountainous and swampy layers, which could become a major trap for a modern and heavily armed army.
Any large-scale intervention would cause significant difficulties in terms of logistics and manpower. Over the past week, the military forces of the United States and Israel carried out air strikes on a number of important facilities in Iranian territory.
These events have further intensified talks about the risk of a major war in the region. President Donald Trump has not completely ruled out the option of a ground invasion in his interviews.
At the same time, reports about the redeployment of the Pentagon's 82nd Airborne Division are escalating the situation further. According to experts, a large-scale attack on Iranian territory could cause even more human and logistical problems than the wars in Afghanistan and Vietnam.
According to Thomas Bonnie James, a renowned professor at Aberdeen University, the Pentagon would not easily make such an important decision. In this situation, scenarios involving highly rapid and precise surgical strikes are likely being considered.
For example, the rapid deployment of special forces to nuclear facilities in Natanz, Fordow, or Isfahan followed by a swift evacuation might be planned. However, Neil Quilliam, a leading official at the Chatham House organization, emphasizes that such an operation is extremely risky and complex.
According to him, entry into the area could be executed quickly, but exiting the geographic labyrinth is likely to be a very deep and long-term process. Therefore, a ground invasion of Iran is becoming an operation that poses a significant strategic risk and requires very precise tactical planning.
