Russia is sending large quantities of medicines to the population of Iran
Iran has appealed for humanitarian aid from Russia and other friendly states, and efforts to deliver assistance have already begun. This was reported by Zamin.uz.

This information was provided by Maria Zakharova, spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia. The official representative of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated during a briefing that numerous hospitals and emergency medical stations have been destroyed in the country.

Furthermore, due to the high number of injured individuals, particularly among women and children, Iran has requested that friendly states send medicines. According to her statements, based on an order from Russian President Vladimir Putin, necessary humanitarian aid is being organized for the population of Iran.

On March 12, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia announced that more than 13 tons of medicines would be sent for the population of Iran. The cargo will be transported to Azerbaijan via an Il-76 military transport aircraft and handed over there to Iranian representatives.

It was also reported that the United States and Israel launched military operations against Iran on February 28. In response, Iran struck US military bases and oil tankers in the Middle East.

According to data from the Ministry of Health of Iran, as of March 8, more than 1200 civilians have been killed since the start of military operations in the country. This situation is described as a human tragedy, and relief efforts are continuing.
