The Israeli army has launched a land military operation in southern Lebanon.

The State of Israel's army has officially announced the launch of a targeted ground military operation in southern Lebanon. Zamin.uz reported on this.
According to the report, these measures were confirmed in a special statement by the Israel Defense Forces. The main objective of the operation is to eliminate Hezbollah's military bases, ammunition depots, and other infrastructure facilities in southern Lebanon.
Israeli officials aim to protect their territory and restrict the movements of militants through these actions. Additionally, these measures are intended to provide additional security guarantees for civilians in northern Israel.
The escalation began after a rocket attack launched by Hezbollah into Israeli territory on March 2. In response, the Israeli army delivered powerful air and artillery strikes on Lebanese territory.
According to international news agencies, as a result of the combat operations, hundreds of thousands of people in Lebanon have been forced to leave their homes. The number of additional casualties is also increasing, further exacerbating the humanitarian situation in the region.
The Israeli Ministry of Defense has assessed Hezbollah as a military force supported by Iran and emphasized that no threat to its civilian population will be tolerated. Official statements specifically noted that the operation is limited and targeted, focusing solely on military facilities.
However, according to political scientists and experts, these hostilities may disrupt the political and military balance in the region and carry a risk of further escalation. Although all attention is focused on ensuring the safety of civilians in Israel's northern regions and strengthening strategic borders, future developments will be of significant importance to everyone.
