Nebius Group and Meta Platforms are collaborating for artificial intelligence

Nebius Group N.V., a Netherlands-based company founded by former Yandex CEO Arkady Volozh and specializing in cloud computing solutions for artificial intelligence technologies, has signed a long-term and strategic agreement with the American corporation Meta Platforms Inc. to provide infrastructure for artificial intelligence projects, Zamin.uz reported.
This was announced in a press release by Nebius Group N.V. on Monday, March 16.
The agreement is valid for five years. During this period, Nebius Group N.V.
will provide computing power worth $12 billion based on the NVIDIA Vera Rubin platform. The first deliveries are planned for early 2027.
Additionally, Meta Platforms Inc. has committed to purchasing a portion of the computing power created in new clusters by Nebius Group N.V. over five years, amounting to up to $15 billion in total. The remaining capacity is planned to be sold by the company to third-party clients or kept in reserve.
The total value of the deal is approximately $27 billion. According to Bloomberg agency, this is one of the largest contracts for computing power ever made by Meta Platforms Inc. "We are pleased to expand our new and large long-term strategic partnership with Meta in providing computing power," said Arkady Volozh.
Against this backdrop, shares of Nebius Group N.V. rose by 15 percent before trading began on Monday.
The company's share price has nearly quadrupled over the past 12 months. Shares of Meta Platforms Inc. also rose by 2.8 percent. Additionally, in the fall of 2025, Nebius Group N.V. signed a nearly $20 billion five-year contract with Microsoft Corporation. In March 2026, it also concluded a $2 billion cooperation agreement with Nvidia.
This partnership is considered one of the largest and most strategic moves in the global market for infrastructure and computing power in the field of artificial intelligence.
