American sailors killed in the US attack were buried in a funeral ceremony

Today, the funeral of 84 Iranian sailors is being held. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
On March 4, Iran's "Dena" destroyer was attacked by a US submarine near the island of Sri Lanka while returning from a military parade in India. As a result of this attack, 84 sailors were killed, and 20 people went missing.
Yesterday, sailors were sent off to their final resting place in several cities across Iran. During the ceremonies, relatives and colleagues commemorated the victims, and their bodies were respectfully buried.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian emphasized that the US submarine launched a "cowardly and disgusting attack" on a ship that was far from the military conflict zone and was returning from a peace mission. The General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces and the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Command announced that they would take deadly and devastating revenge for the blood of the innocent sailors of the "Dena" destroyer who were killed.
This incident has caused deep sorrow and anger in the country. The Iranian government has stated that it will strengthen its position on the international stage and take strict measures against such attacks.
Ensuring the country's security and protecting the lives of military personnel has been set as a priority task. This event remains a serious threat to peace and stability in the region.
The respect of the Iranian people for the fallen sailors and the support provided to their families continues.
