Eron believes there is no confidence in Trump's calls for negotiations.

Axios, relying on its reliable sources, reported that Iranian leaders view the mediation efforts of countries trying to resolve the issue with Washington with suspicion. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
The main idea from Tehran is that President Donald Trump's recent calls for negotiations are not trustworthy. According to Iranian officials, Trump has misled them twice before, and they do not want to face a similar situation again.
This news was widely disseminated through the Tengrinews.kz website. The Iranian leadership believes that unexpected military actions began after previous diplomatic talks.
During the previous two rounds of dialogue between the US and Iran, although Trump spoke publicly about reaching an agreement, he simultaneously supported attacks. For this reason, Tehran currently suspects that the new proposals for negotiations are merely a way to buy time or could be used as a political mask before a future strike.
Axios cited two specific examples that shaped Tehran's perspective. In June of last year, Israel struck Iran just days before the planned next phase of nuclear negotiations, with Trump's support.
Recently, although it was said that the US and Israel had reached a preliminary understanding to continue talks in Geneva next week, just two days later another new attack occurred. Due to these historical events, Iranian officials approach external mediation efforts with great caution.
Their main concern is that while any new diplomatic activity could lead to a meaningful agreement in the future, it could just as easily end with renewed military escalation. For this reason, the Iranian authorities are forced to deeply analyze every word and action.
