The US sent a proposal consisting of forty conditions to the Iranian leadership.

The United States has taken a significant diplomatic step aimed at halting military operations in the Middle East and reducing tensions in the region. Zamin.uz reported this.
According to The New York Times, the US administration sent a comprehensive proposal consisting of forty conditions and demands to Iran. This document was delivered to the Tehran leadership through the state of Pakistan and includes a set of measures aimed at restoring peace against the backdrop of military strikes that have been ongoing for several weeks.
The proposal focuses primarily on Iran's nuclear program, requesting it to hand over enriched uranium to the International Atomic Energy Agency and halt its actions aimed at creating new nuclear weapons. According to information based on diplomatic sources, US Ambassador Stephen Witkoff informed President Donald Trump that Iran has accepted several key aspects of the proposal.
Although Tehran has not yet officially confirmed these statements, it indicates that the negotiation process is gaining momentum. However, Israel's current position remains unclear, and it has not revealed how it views the situation in the region.
Over the past four weeks, US and Israeli forces have repeatedly struck Iranian territory. On March 23, President Trump stated that successful talks had taken place with Iranian leaders and ordered a five-day suspension of attacks on energy facilities.
Iranian officials, however, have continued to emphasize that no negotiations have taken place. Additionally, the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a series of statements to the international community.
On March 24, Tehran addressed the United Nations Security Council and the International Maritime Organization, proposing to ensure passage through the Strait of Hormuz for vessels not designated as enemies. These conditions are based on mutual agreement and compliance with special security regulations.
The Strait of Hormuz is a vital route carrying nearly twenty percent of the world's oil and liquefied gas supply. Due to the conflict, navigation in this area was severely disrupted, negatively impacting the economy.
Now, the opening of this route will be of great importance to the global market and serve as a key indicator of the peace process.
