Trump plans to resolve the dispute with Iran soon

US President Donald Trump does not want the conflict with Iran to last long. Zamin.uz reported this.
It is planned to resolve this conflict in the near future, i.e., within the current weeks. According to information provided by the prominent Wall Street Journal publication, Trump has told his close advisors that this process has entered its final stage.
The White House has set a specific timeframe of four to six weeks to resolve this situation. The main goal is to end the war before the important meeting with Chinese leader Xi Jinping in mid-May.
According to Trump, Iranian leaders are also showing interest in starting negotiations. However, due to internal political pressure and security issues, they cannot announce this openly.
The President emphasized that the Iranian elite are afraid of both their own people and the United States. The authors of the publication highlight that this statement reveals several important aspects.
First, the United States does not want a prolonged war because it puts pressure on the economy and leads to rising oil prices. It could also affect domestic political ratings.
Second, although official Tehran has not yet fully acknowledged the negotiations, Washington is trying to intensify talks through diplomatic channels. This is considered a serious step aimed at restoring stability in the region.
