University employee dies due to motorcyclists' reckless driving in Turkey

One person died as a result of gunfire from individuals on a motorcycle in Turkey. Zamin.uz reported this.
The tragedy occurred near a liquor store in the Gaziosmanpasha neighborhood of the Altieylul district. It is reported that two individuals arriving on a motorcycle opened fire randomly.
Unfortunately, the shots hit Semih Kachmaz, a faculty member of the law faculty at Balikesir University, who was eating at a nearby shop. The injured person was immediately taken to Balikesir Ataturk City Hospital by medical personnel.
However, despite all the efforts of the doctors, he could not be saved. Following the incident, the Balikesir Provincial Police Department launched an investigation.
Law enforcement agencies thoroughly examined images from security cameras of sixty business premises in the area, as well as recordings from the city's security system and the license plate recognition system. As a result of the investigations, the suspects were identified as T.K.
and A.S.
It was revealed that the criminals fled to the Bandirma district after the incident. In coordination with the Prosecutor General's Office, police officers identified the addresses of the suspects and organized a special operation.
As a result, the perpetrators were apprehended and detained along with the weapon used in the crime. Investigative measures against the suspects are currently ongoing.
