Construction of the Jeddah Tower in Saudi Arabia has reached the hundredth floor

Saudi Arabia is gaining worldwide fame not only for its vast deserts but also for creating modern engineering wonders. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
A significant milestone has been reached in the Jeddah Tower project, which is under construction and is expected to soon become the tallest building in the world. Construction work on this massive structure is continuing at a new pace.
This skyscraper, rising on the shores of the Red Sea, has officially reached the 100th-floor mark. This result, recorded in April 2026, demonstrates the rapid development of the project.
Now, there is an opportunity to see the world's first building reaching a height of one kilometer. Currently, the tower's height is 402 meters, but the final goal is much higher.
Previously known as Kingdom Tower, this project was halted in 2018 for certain reasons. However, starting from January 2025, construction work resumed and was launched at full capacity.
The building's design was developed by the famous Adrian Smith and Gordon Gill architecture firm. It is worth noting that these same specialists also designed the Burj Khalifa, currently the tallest building in Dubai.
Jeddah Tower is not just a tall building, but the centerpiece of the massive Jeddah Economic City complex. This project aims to turn Saudi Arabia into a major global business and tourism hub.
The final height of the building is expected to reach at least one thousand meters. Construction work is planned to be fully completed by August 2028.
This structure serves as a symbol of economic and technological development within the framework of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 program. The global community is watching with interest as Saudi Arabia breaks the Burj Khalifa record to become the owner of the tallest building.
