A citizen of Uzbekistan has died as a result of a tragedy that occurred in the city of Vladikavkaz, Russia. Zamin.uz reported this.

The incident was caused by a powerful explosion during the process of loading waste. The event took place on April 17 at the intersection of Internatsionalnaya Street and Partizanskiy Lane in the city center.

A 46-year-old man who was at the workplace during the explosion sustained severe injuries and passed away at the scene. The deceased's colleagues stated that he leaves behind a family and five children.

Currently, emergency services and law enforcement agencies are operating in the area where the incident occurred. The exact causes and details of the event are being thoroughly investigated.

A criminal case has been initiated by the Russian Investigative Committee under the article for causing death by negligence. According to preliminary assumptions, the explosion may have been caused by hazardous or explosive items within the waste.

Special services plan to inspect the waste collection equipment and subsequently transport it to a special testing ground. Sergey Menyaylo, the head of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, warned the population.

He urged citizens not to throw hazardous items into ordinary waste containers and to hand over such objects only through specialized services. This measure is being implemented to prevent similar tragedies in the future.
