Trump Announces Imminent Start of Negotiations with Iran

In an exclusive interview with the New York Post, United States President Donald Trump announced that the next round of negotiations with Iran could begin shortly. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to the President, a meeting between the parties is likely to take place within the next thirty-six to seventy-two hours. This statement comes amid a tense regional political situation and an ongoing naval blockade of Iranian ports.
Analysts at the newspaper noted that the dialogue is expected to proceed against a backdrop of economic and military restrictions. Earlier, the Trump administration decided to extend the existing truce with Iran.
This decision involves delaying planned military strikes against the Islamic Republic for a certain period. The U.S.
leader emphasized that he took this step following an official request from the Pakistani government. Pakistan's leadership appealed to both Washington and Tehran, asking for an opportunity to resolve the conflict peacefully and reach a common consensus.
Consequently, the U.S. side agreed to temporarily maintain the ceasefire to de-escalate the situation.
It is also worth noting that the U.S. President had previously stated firmly that he did not intend to extend the truce.
He has repeatedly accused Iran of systematically violating mutual agreements and failing to fulfill its obligations. However, no concrete evidence or detailed information supporting these allegations has been disclosed to the public.
Currently, diplomatic efforts to preserve peace in the region have intensified. The outcome of the new round of negotiations and the degree of mutual compromise will become clear following the meetings in the coming days.
These developments are being closely monitored by the global community and international experts.
