Gennady Zyuganov Sharply Criticizes the Kremlin Administration's Working Style

An unexpected and somewhat ironic debate has emerged in the Russian political arena. Gennady Zyuganov, leader of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF), expressed sharp criticism from the State Duma podium, questioning the working methods and priorities of the Kremlin administration.
This political clash and Zyuganov's warnings are drawing the attention of many analysts. During a regular session of the State Duma, Zyuganov did not hide his resentment over the attention Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov paid to famous blogger Viktoria Bonya.
According to the party leader, while the Kremlin responds immediately to statements from a blogger living abroad, it leaves collective appeals from deputies—representatives of the people—unanswered for years. Zyuganov emphasized that the issues mentioned by the blogger, particularly the environmental state of regions and social assistance, were raised by the Communist Party much earlier but were ignored by the government.
The politician addressed not only the blogger issue but also the country's economic future. He noted that projected economic indicators for the first quarter of 2026 continue to decline, a situation he described as highly dangerous.
Comparing the current situation to historical events, Zyuganov issued a serious warning: without immediate financial and economic reforms, serious social explosions could occur. He stressed that repeating such tragic mistakes must be avoided at all costs.
Recalling historical events from the beginning of the last century, the Communist leader stated that the then-government's indifference to economic and social problems ultimately led to disastrous consequences. He called on the current authorities to listen to opposition criticism and unite all political forces for a common goal.
Although Kremlin representatives stated that certain appeals are not ignored, Zyuganov views the current approach as a violation of priorities in matters of state importance. Is the influence of bloggers on solving state problems truly becoming stronger than that of official representatives?
The extent to which Zyuganov's economic concerns and predictions are justified will become clear in the near future. The socio-political situation in Russia and expected changes are being closely monitored by many experts.
