Jeffrey Epstein Found to Have Used London Properties for Illegal Purposes

New details have emerged regarding the activities of the late financier Jeffrey Epstein, who was accused of serious sexual offenses in the United States. According to an investigation by a British broadcaster, Epstein rented several apartments in London's most prestigious areas, such as Kensington and Chelsea, using them for his illegal objectives.
These properties remained outside police surveillance for a long period. Evidence reveals that these apartments primarily housed young women from Russia and Eastern European countries.
Some of these women later publicly admitted to being victims of sexual abuse by Epstein. During the investigation, testimony emerged that some women were not only victims but were also forced to recruit others into the network, highlighting the vast scale of the crimes.
Epstein's activities in London and the international travel of the women continued unabated until his arrest in the US in 2019. Records show he purchased over fifty train tickets for women to travel to Paris over an eight-year period, suggesting an operation akin to an organized international criminal group.
Most concerningly, British law enforcement had the opportunity to launch an investigation as early as 2015, but the process was delayed for unknown reasons. Human rights advocates are harshly criticizing Scotland Yard, claiming that victims' reports were not taken seriously and that there was negligence in combating human trafficking.
Meanwhile, reports suggest that the US Department of Justice may be hindering British investigations, particularly regarding evidence of high-ranking politicians' ties to Epstein. The French government has also launched its own inquiry, as the case evolves into a major international scandal.
