A mass wedding ceremony for three hundred couples held in Gaza Strip

A major public event took place in the center of the Gaza Strip. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
On April 24 of this year, a wedding ceremony for three hundred couples was solemnly celebrated here at the same time. According to Al Jazeera, this large-scale charity project was organized with the support of the United Arab Emirates government.
This event was recorded as one of the largest collective weddings in the history of Gaza. About twenty thousand guests attended the ceremony, including relatives of the newlyweds, public figures and representatives of international organizations.
This noble initiative was implemented as part of a humanitarian aid program carried out by the United Arab Emirates. The main goal of the project is to support young people surrounded by economic hardships and social problems and to create material conditions for them to start new families.
According to the organizers, the marrying couples were selected from thousands of candidates based on special criteria. Particular attention was paid to low-income youth marrying for the first time and in need of social protection.
Within the framework of the program, not only was a solemn ceremony organized, but each new family was also provided with the necessary funds to start their own household. In particular, all wedding-related expenses were covered, and the newlyweds were provided with household items and other everyday essentials.
Such assistance serves as an important foundation for young families to get on their feet and find their place in society. The celebration was held in both traditional and modern styles.
The event began with the recitation of the Holy Quran, after which the marriages were officially announced. Then Palestinian national dances and songs were performed, sharing a festive mood with those gathered.
Despite the difficult situation in the region, such events are an important step toward reviving hope for the future in people's hearts and preserving national values. For the residents of Gaza, this day became a symbol of joy and unity.
