Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky explained why missile attacks against the country have stopped and called for serious conclusions regarding this situation. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to him, there have been no attacks with large missiles on Kyiv and other major cities for two nights. Zelensky linked this pause to the visit of a special representative from the US, General Kit Kellog.
The president emphasized that after General Kellog's arrival, the sky remained calm. He mentioned that during the two nights there were no major attacks, and as a joke among the people, there were statements like “Kellog should be given a Ukrainian passport, he should stay there.”
Zelensky believes that all of this indicates that Russian President Vladimir Putin is afraid of America. He also noted that the Russian leadership is paying serious attention to the military and political influence of the US.
He spoke about how the presence of military figures like General Kellog in Ukraine is causing Moscow to make hasty decisions. These thoughts are being widely discussed not only within Ukraine but also in international media.
Many experts are evaluating this statement as a sharp change in relations between Russia and the US. Zelensky once again expressed gratitude to his American partners, calling their role in the current situation a “strategic key.”
Against this backdrop, a temporary sense of peace is becoming apparent in Ukrainian society. However, experts assess this calm as temporary and emphasize the need to be prepared for any potential threats.
Thus, Zelensky indicates that Putin's fear of US involvement is manifesting not only in words but also through practical results. This is considered a significant achievement for Ukraine in the diplomatic field.
