Uzbek female boxers won five medals at the Asian Championship

The Uzbekistan women's national boxing team participated successfully in the Asian Championship held in Ulaanbaatar, defending the honor of our country with distinction. Zamin.uz reported this.
According to the results of the competition, our representatives managed to record two silver and three bronze medals to their name. Our athletes demonstrated their high level of skill, resilience, and determination to win at this prestigious tournament.
The silver medals were awarded to Aziza Zokirova, who entered the ring in the -75 kg weight category, and Ruxshona Parpiyeva, who competed in the -80 kg division. They fought confidently throughout the competition, reached the final stage, and battled valiantly until the very end in the deciding matches.
Additionally, Nigina Uktamova, Oysha Toirova, and Oltinoy Sotimboyeva achieved high results in their respective weight classes, competing against tough opponents to win bronze medals. As reported by the One.uz website, these results show that the work being done to develop women's boxing in our country is yielding results.
Each boxer fought in the ring not only for victory but also to elevate our national pride. Currently, all attention is focused on the men's bouts.
Five representatives of the Uzbekistan national team will step into the ring for gold medals in the final matches taking place on the tenth of April. Our fans are looking forward to the next brilliant victories from our athletes.
