In the first seven months of 2025, the import of trucks to the Republic of Uzbekistan increased significantly, reaching a total value of 155.7 million dollars. This was reported by Upl.uz.
According to the State Committee on Statistics, a total of 30,346 units of cargo equipment were brought into the country from January to July. Although the delivery geography covered 22 countries, the main role in filling the Uzbek market belongs to one primary partner.
Statistical analyses show China's dominance in imports. A total of 29,470 trucks were imported from this country, constituting the majority of all transport vehicles.
This figure consolidates China as the main country exporting cargo equipment to Uzbekistan and confirms the deepening trade and economic relations between the two countries. Import volumes from countries other than China are significantly lower.
South Korea ranks second, with 410 trucks imported from there. The Russian Federation holds third place with 204 units of equipment.
European manufacturers are also present in our market, but their volumes are smaller. From Austria, 55 units were imported, and from Turkey and Germany, 50 and 48 vehicles respectively.
A total of 109 cargo equipment units were imported from other countries. This import structure indicates a high demand for commercial transport in Uzbekistan.
This demand is mainly met by Asian manufacturers, among whom Chinese companies hold a leading position due to their pricing policy and wide model range. Additionally, domestic production of commercial vehicles is actively developing in Uzbekistan alongside imports.
