The ranking of cars that will lose the most value in 5 years has been announced!
When buying a car, most people pay attention to its brand, appearance, power, and speed. However, when it comes time to sell it later, how much the car's value decreases becomes an important issue. The famous British publication Express conducted a special study to clarify this and compiled a ranking of cars that lose their value the fastest.

Experts studied cars that were purchased five years ago and analyzed how quickly their prices dropped during that time. In general, any new car loses about 20 percent of its value on average over five years, but for some brands and models, this figure can exceed 60 percent.

In this unfavorable ranking, the BMW 7 Series sedan took the first place as the car that loses the most value. This car has decreased in price by a record 65.43 percent over five years. This means that people who bought it will incur an average loss of 73,200 euros after five years. Just imagine how many other new cars could be bought with that money!

In second place on the list is the Tesla Model S, the star of the electric vehicle world. Its price has dropped by 64.22 percent over five years. Another premium car, the Audi A6, rounds out the top three, with its price falling by 64.20 percent over five years.

Several other models equipped with electric motors are also causing serious losses for their owners. In particular, the Nissan Leaf electric car has lost 60.39 percent of its value, placing it high in the anti-ranking.

Below is the top 10 ranking of cars that lose their value the fastest over five years:

1. BMW 7 Series — 65.43% depreciation;
2. Tesla Model S — 64.22% depreciation;
3. Audi A6 — 64.20% depreciation;
4. Nissan Leaf — 60.39% depreciation;
5. Tesla Model Y — 58.46% depreciation;
6. Chevrolet Bolt EV — 57.80% depreciation;
7. Tesla Model 3 — 50.41% depreciation;
8. Jeep Grand Cherokee — 48.88% depreciation;
9. Mercedes Benz E-Class — 47.77% depreciation;
10. Ford Escape/Kuga — 47.49% depreciation.

Conclusion from Zamin.uz editorial
Buying a car is not just about choosing a means of transportation, but also a financial decision. This anti-ranking is not just information, but a warning signal for buyers. If you want to choose a car with the aim of resale or to protect against depreciation in the long term, it is recommended to take the above list into account.
