The Chinese company Dongfeng has proposed to build a modern car factory in the Surkhandarya region. This was reported by Upl.uz.
The regional administration's press service has announced this. According to the images released by the regional administration, Dongfeng has presented several models of electric trucks, mini cargo vehicles, and multipurpose transport vehicles.
So far, no further details about the project have been disclosed. It is worth noting that earlier there were reports about plans to produce affordable cars.
This proposal aims to enhance the industrial potential of the Surkhandarya region and create new jobs. The implementation of the project is expected to significantly contribute to the development of the automotive industry in the region.
