Despite the passing years, its characters, impactful scenes, and the story about sincere love are still remembered and talked about by fans. Actress Dilnoza Kubayeva shared her impressions about the filming process of that movie.
According to her, some scenes were so powerful that at that moment she felt as if she were not in a film but in real life. Kubayeva said that the words her character said to her mother deeply affected her: “Even if I sell myself at the station all my life, even if I die from bitterness, I will not go back on my word, mother!” At that moment, she completely immersed herself in the role and felt as if her real mother was standing in front of her.
The filming took place during the cold season, which was a great challenge for the actress. There were times when she wore thin clothes and her lips were trembling from the cold.
However, she endured and said that every time the word “stop” was heard, she quickly changed into warm clothes. One of the most frequently asked questions among viewers is whether a sequel to the film “Telba” will be made?
Dilnoza Kubayeva gave a clear answer on this matter: “I am grateful to our compatriots who loved and watched the film. However, many of the characters’ lives ended in the film.
Therefore, I believe the work should remain as it is and be preserved in the hearts of the people.” The film “Telba” was shot in 2008 and is one of the most discussed and watched works in Uzbek cinema. The film’s director is Ayub Shahobiddinov, the screenplay writer is Yolqin Tuychiyev, and the producer is Avaz Tojixonov.
The main roles were performed by Dilnoza Kubayeva, Ulug‘bek Qodirov, Ra’no Yarasheva, Alisher Uzoqov, Ubaydulla Omon, and other well-known actors. The work vividly depicted sincere love, loyalty, and the struggle against social barriers between a poor young man and the daughter of a wealthy family.
In conclusion, it can be said that although the film “Telba” will not have a sequel, its impact will remain in the history of Uzbek cinema for many years to come.
