
The Head of the Presidential Administration, Saida Mirziyoyeva, participated in a prestigious film festival held on November 22 in Doha, the capital of Qatar. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
This visit attracted the attention of art and culture experts and once again demonstrated Uzbekistan's active participation in the field of contemporary art. The festival is considered an important platform for independent and auteur filmmakers.
Saida Mirziyoyeva emphasized this venue as a valuable space that allows for new ideas, bold artistic approaches, and the expression of creative freedom. The festival program included films presented from various countries, with special attention given to young creators and local filmmakers.
In her Telegram channel, Saida Mirziyoyeva wrote that contemporary cinema is not only art but also a powerful tool expressing the mood, problems, and hopes of society. She also familiarized herself with events held at Qatar's cultural centers.
During the visit, she also closely acquainted herself with the activities of the Fashion Trust Arabia (FTA) foundation, noting that this initiative is aimed at supporting talented designers in the Middle East and North Africa region. Mirziyoyeva visited the Threads of Impact exhibition at the M7 cultural center.
The exhibition “Woven Legacies: Uzbekistan’s Living Heritage,” reflecting the craftsmanship and national traditions of Uzbek designers, attracted great interest. She emphasized that such projects play an important role in showcasing national heritage on the world stage.
Additionally, Saida Mirziyoyeva viewed the exhibition titled “Countryside: A Place to Live, Not to Leave,” organized under the leadership of renowned architects Rem Koolhaas and Samir Bantal. This exhibition is dedicated to the modern image of rural life and issues of its preservation and development, and it was reported that Mirziyoyeva followed these ideas with great interest.
