CBU published exchange rates for 1 August
Starting from August 1, 2025, Uzbekistan’s currency exchange rates are experiencing notable changes, with almost all major foreign currencies showing an increase against the Uzbek sum.
The US dollar (USD) climbs by 91.56 so‘m, reaching 12,591.57 so‘m. The euro (EUR) also rises, up by 74.52 so‘m to 14,545.78 so‘m. The Russian ruble (RUB) grows by 1.86 so‘m and stands at 153.82 so‘m.
The British pound (GBP) shows the biggest jump among major currencies, increasing by 157.53 so‘m to 16,850.04 so‘m. The Japanese yen (JPY) moves up by 0.92 so‘m to 85.06 so‘m.
The Swiss franc (CHF) is up by 113.74 so‘m, now at 15,641.70 so‘m. Meanwhile, the Chinese yuan (CNY) adds 11.61 so‘m, reaching 1,753.55 so‘m.
All these changes will be effective tomorrow according to the updated rates, signaling a general upward trend in foreign currencies against the Uzbek sum.
