The price of 5 grams of gold in Uzbekistan has been rising for the third consecutive day, Kursiv.media reported, citing the press service of the Central Bank. As of April 3, the price of a 5-gram bar reached 6.75 million soums for the first time.
Additionally, the price of a 10-gram bar rose to 13.5 million soums, and a 20-gram bar increased to 27 million soums.
The Central Bank also updated the prices of 50 and 100-gram bars: they now stand at 67.5 million and 135.1 million soums, respectively.
According to analysts at UBS Bank, the price of gold in the global market could rise to $3,200 by the end of this year.
