Uzbekistan currency exchange rates fell: the dollar became cheaper by 50.58 soums

The Central Bank of Uzbekistan announced the official exchange rates of foreign currencies for February 26, 2026. This was reported by Zamin.uz.
According to this information, the US dollar decreased by 50.58 soms, reaching 12,137.10 soms. The euro currency also fell by 59.63 soms, amounting to 14,307.21 soms.
The Russian ruble also declined by 0.56 soms, reaching 158.53 soms. The British pound sterling decreased by 46.44 soms, becoming 16,406.93 soms.
The Japanese yen dropped by 0.68 soms, falling to 77.52 soms. The Swiss franc also decreased by 69.41 soms, totaling 15,678.98 soms.
The Chinese yuan fell by 4.50 soms, equaling 1,767.04 soms. These changes are significant in the currency market and may affect economic processes.
Such changes in exchange rates can especially impact the prices of products imported from abroad. Therefore, entrepreneurs and economic analysts need to take this information into account.
