According to the central bank survey, people's spending plans differ by age

The Central Bank conducted a consumer sentiment survey in the first quarter of 2026, examining citizens’ spending plans for the coming months, as reported by Zamin.uz.
The results show that spending priorities vary significantly by age and income. Among respondents under 18, 25% planned to spend on education.
16% intended to allocate funds for home repairs, and 13% included travel among their main expenses. In the 18–30 age group, demand for education and home repairs was equal, each accounting for 23%.
In this group, wedding expenses made up 15%, car purchases 13%, and travel 12%. Among citizens aged 31–40, 30% planned to spend on home repairs.
Education accounted for 16%, healthcare for 13%, and car purchases for 9%. In the 41–50 age group, home repairs remained the top priority.
33% of respondents in this bracket indicated plans to spend on home improvements. 23% cited education, and 14% mentioned healthcare.
Among those aged 51–60, 35% planned to renovate their homes. 16% chose healthcare, and 11% selected wedding expenses.
For respondents over 60, home repairs ranked highest at 38%, while healthcare accounted for 17%. The survey results also indicate plans to increase spending in the near future on home repairs, travel, weddings, home purchases, and household appliances.
