Bad news from the Tax Committee: buyers of fake receipts have been blacklisted

Receiving a 1 percent cashback on purchases through the Soliq mobile application has already become a daily habit for many. Zamin.uz reported on this.
However, there is unpleasant news for those who wanted to make easy money by cheating the system. According to the Tax Committee, more than 123 thousand citizens who purchased fake purchase receipts from third parties for a certain fee via social networks in May and registered these receipts without actually purchasing any goods have been included in the registry of suspicious buyers.
Registering a fake receipt is considered illegal. Be vigilant if someone offers you ready-made receipts to scan and earn cashback.
Processing such fake purchase receipts through the application is against the law and, in addition to simply being blacklisted, can lead to relevant liability. Algorithms in the tax system easily detect such suspicious activities.
Sometimes, even when you make a legitimate purchase, the cashback may not be confirmed immediately. The reason for this is related to the entrepreneur, not you.
If the entrepreneur from whom you purchased the goods has not submitted the tax report on time, has deficiencies, or has tax debts, your cashback will be paused. There is no need for concern; as soon as the entrepreneur resolves these deficiencies, the cashback will be automatically confirmed for you.
Even if you are an honest buyer, you should keep in mind that cashback will not be paid in the following cases. These are strict rules of the system.
First, if more than 10 days have passed from the time the receipt was issued, cashback will not be calculated. Second, cashback is not provided when purchasing cars, air, or rail tickets.
Third, cashback is not calculated when payments are made for communication and utility services. Fourth, cashback is not provided when services are rendered by self-employed individuals.
Fifth, cashback is not calculated when an individual entrepreneur or a self-employed person issues a receipt via a digital platform. Sixth, if the individual themselves has been included in the registry of suspicious buyers, cashback will not be provided.
In conclusion, the cashback system works only to encourage real purchases. Be careful not to be held liable or end up in the registry by engaging in "receipt hunting."
