While Davids believed the collection was kept in a safe place, Habibi stole 37 paintings, pawned them at various pawnshops, and received approximately 30 thousand euros. In 2017, when Habibi was unable to repay her debts, the pawnshops gained the right to sell the paintings. One of the buyers saw Davids' name on the back of a painting and contacted him through social networks. After that, Davids filed a lawsuit. Habibi admitted to the theft. Earlier, she had faced problems related to criminal cases and had left her acquaintance after taking 3500 euros from him.

From the next year, that is, the 2026-2027 academic year, bachelor's degree programs will begin operating at the university. Students will have the opportunity to receive education in modern subjects. Additionally, from the 2027-2028 academic year, master's and postgraduate programs will also be gradually introduced. Studying at the university will be organized on the basis of state grants and tuition contracts. Classes will be conducted not only in Uzbek but also in foreign languages.
