
From May 1, 2025, to April 1, 2027, some families will receive compensation for electricity and natural gas consumption, nova24.uz reports.
According to the presidential decree, the state will cover the difference between the tariffs for electricity consumed up to 150 kWh per month (above the basic tariff).
Additionally, compensation will be paid for natural gas consumption exceeding 250 cubic meters during the heating season and 150 cubic meters during other periods. The timely payment of these funds is the responsibility of the National Social Protection Agency.
To qualify for compensation, a family must meet the following criteria:
Recipients of child benefits and material assistance through the Unified Social Registry;
Families recognized as low-income;
Financially vulnerable families, even if not listed in the registry;
Families whose per capita income does not exceed 1.5 times the consumption expenses.
