Jirkov: Pinyaev will not move to CSKA, Europe is a priority

Former player of the Russian national team Yuri Zhirkov commented on the future of Lokomotiv's forward midfielder Sergey Pinyaev. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

Earlier, information had circulated about the 20-year-old player's interest in joining CSKA. According to Zhirkov, despite a higher salary offer from Zenit, Pinyaev rejected the move there.

He also emphasized that the likelihood of the player moving to CSKA is low. In the expert's opinion, Pinyaev should consider offers from European clubs rather than staying at Lokomotiv, as there is an opportunity to participate in European cups there.

Of course, a move to Zenit is also not out of the question. Sergey Pinyaev has been playing for Lokomotiv since the beginning of 2023.

He has played in 88 official matches for the team, scoring 16 goals and providing 13 assists. The popular Transfermarkt portal estimates the player's market value at 8 million euros.

Currently, CSKA is considering the possibility of purchasing Pinyaev from Lokomotiv, and a specific amount has also been mentioned in this regard. This information is of great importance in making a decision about the player's future activities.
