According to A Bola, the "Red Devils" are close to acquiring top striker Viktor Dyokeresh from Arsenal. Sources indicate that United is ready to increase the Gunners' offer for the 27-year-old Swedish player, taking advantage of the stalled negotiations between Sporting and Arsenal.
The transfer fee could be around 80 million euros. Last season, Viktor Dyokeresh scored 54 goals in 52 matches.
He has also previously worked with Ruben Amorim. The Portuguese coach moved from Sporting to Manchester United last autumn.
