CSKA team's head coach Fabio Chelestini shared his thoughts in an interview with "Match TV" channel ahead of the game against Orenburg. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
When asked about the weather conditions, he mentioned that it is very hot and a bit stuffy. He hopes everything will be fine since the field is being watered.
The coach emphasized that the conditions are not severe, but they are different from usual. He and the players prefer a natural field, while the artificial surface is intended for other sports.
However, there is no other option at the moment; both teams will play under the same conditions on the available field. The coach stated that the synthetic field is not a significant factor in the choice of the game, but acknowledged that it matters for some players.
In particular, due to Diveyev's ongoing Achilles tendon issue, if he plays on this field, he might leave the team for two to three weeks. Therefore, the artificial surface played an important role in the decision regarding his participation.
Chelestini expressed that he expects beautiful and attacking football from today's game. He emphasized that the teams will enter the field to win.
The coach confidently stated that the opponents will also give their all, and the team that demonstrates the best attacking football will win. According to him, football is played for the fans and for beauty.
