The Portuguese club has agreed to pay Juventus an additional 3 million euros as part of the operation. The Transfermarkt website estimates the total value of the two players at 10 million euros.

It is worth noting that Juventus purchased Alberto Costa from Vitoria Guimaraes about 14 million euros six months ago. Alberto Costa's contract is valid until 2029, while Joao Mario's current agreement with Portu expires in 2027.

This swap is emphasized as potentially beneficial for both clubs.
