Former "Rostov" team defender Vitaliy Dyakov emphasized in an interview with the Euro-Football.Ru online publication that the heavy tournament schedule in Europe's top five leagues could lead to numerous injuries. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
In his opinion, these injuries do not necessarily have to occur specifically in these competitions. However, due to the excessive workload on players, they do not fully recover during their breaks, which negatively affects their physical and mental condition.
As a result, the likelihood of injuries, particularly serious ones, increases. According to Dyakov, FIFA and UEFA leaders are profiting greatly from these processes; they do not run on the field, but players are forced to play many games.
He also pointed out that the club World Cup is not necessary for many. The club World Cup took place in the USA from June 16 to July 13.
The London team "Chelsea" won the tournament. In the final, they defeated Paris's "PSG" team with a score of 3:0.
