23-year-old French striker Ugo Ekitike has completed the main part of his medical examination, thus nearly finalizing his transfer process to the English club "Liverpool". This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

Journalist Fabrizio Romano announced this on his social media pages. According to the source, a 6-year contract will be signed with the player transferred from the German club "Eintracht".

It was previously reported that the transfer fee is 79.7 million euros, with an additional 11.5 million euros potentially available as bonuses. Last season, Ekitike played 48 matches for the "Frankfurt" team since 2024, scoring 22 goals and providing 12 assists.
