The Italian club "Roma" has strengthened its attacking line. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
On loan, English club "Brighton" forward Evan Ferguson has joined the team. This was announced by the official press service of the Rome club.
The contract with Ferguson is planned for one season and includes a purchase option. The Irish forward will take the field in Italy's Serie A wearing the number 11 jersey.
According to internal sources, particularly journalist Fabrizio Romano, if "Roma" wishes to buy the player, they will need to pay "Brighton" 40 million euros. Last season, Ferguson represented "Brighton" in the Premier League, but was loaned to "West Ham" during the winter transfer window.
He played a total of 23 matches and scored one goal. The Transfermarkt website values the player at 25 million euros.
At the same time, the "Roma" team aims to achieve high results in Serie A by further strengthening its attacking line. Ferguson will have the opportunity to prove himself in the new team.
The club management and coaches are paying special attention to improving the squad.
