Ivan Boshkovich: "In football, everything doesn't always go as you want"
After the match between “Nasaf" and "So‘g‘diyona" (1:0) in the first round of the Super League, the guest team's head coach Ivan Boshkovich participated in a press conference.

- First of all, I congratulate everyone on the start of the big football season in Uzbekistan. I can say it was a tough game. We were waiting for our chances and aimed to seize the opponent's goal through that. We witnessed a match full of struggles. The opponent was very strong. Our plan was to win, but we made mistakes in the end. Both "Nasaf" and we had chances. We will prepare more seriously for the upcoming games.

- You have built a good team at "So‘g‘diyona". What are your plans for this season?
- We want to win every game. Our main goal is to give more opportunities to local youth. They will grow during the games, and our team will strengthen. Many of our players are considered main candidates for youth national teams of various countries. There are aspects in the process towards our goal that require patience and waiting.

- Today was the first game of the championship. Is there pressure on the players?
- Of course, there is always excitement in the first games. There is a lack of clarity, and sometimes there isn't enough experience to adapt. It's difficult to show bright football; we can't show everything you have.

- What plans did you have regarding Doriyev and Andreyev?
- They are undoubtedly the leaders of our team. However, sometimes injuries can be a setback, and you don't want to take risks. In football, there are many reasons unrelated to one person, which is why everything doesn't always go as you want.

- Today's game seemed very emotional for you...
- I must be emotional during the heat of the game. I strive for calmness, but in Uzbek football, the referees probably remember me more than anyone else.

- Last season you managed to beat "Nasaf" twice. It's clear that you have studied this team better. What changes did you notice in "Nasaf"'s playing style today?
- As I mentioned, not much can be seen in the first game of the championship. Many aspects depend on the individual skills of the players. "Nasaf" is a good team and can always compete. We will give our all to win in our game in Jizzakh.
