Former Dynamo Moscow forward Igor Kolyvanov commented on Anton Zabolot's first official game for the Spartak team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The 34-year-old player took to the field in the starting lineup against Makhachkala Dynamo in the first round of the 2025/2026 Russian Premier League season and was substituted in the 74th minute. According to Kolyvanov, Zabolot's performance was very good.
He provided significant help to the team during the game, battled with the opponent, retained possession of the ball, and assisted his teammates. Although there were few opportunities, his contribution to the game was noticeable.
Especially considering his age, he showed himself well in his first game. Zabolot joined Moscow Spartak as a free agent in the summer of 2025.
He played for Podmoskovye Khimki last season, but after the team was disbanded, he signed a one-year contract with a new club. In Kolyvanov's opinion, Zabolot's experience and performance in the game will benefit the team.
The Spartak team aims to effectively utilize his services in the new season.
