Former "Sochi" and Samarkand's "Wings of the Soviets" striker Vladimir Pisarvskiy has filed an appeal against the disqualification decision. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The Russian Football Union (RFU) had suspended him from playing football for four years, three of which were conditional, for placing bets on his team's games and attempting to influence the outcome on the field. According to the footballer's lawyer Anton Smirnov, today an appeal complaint was submitted on behalf of Pisarvskiy regarding the RFU's decision of July 3.
They demand that a new decision be made considering that the player is not guilty. It is worth noting that Pisarvskiy asked a friend to place a bet on the victory of "Sochi" in the match against "Pari NN."
As a result, the lower Nizhny Novgorod team won, and the striker received a red card in the 35th minute of the game, creating an advantage for the opposing team.
