Former “Lokomotiv” head coach Rinat Bilyaletdinov analyzed the most interesting match of the second round in an exclusive interview with the “Evro-Futbol.Ru” website. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
In it, the “Krasnodar” team hosts the “Railwaymen.” In response to the question of what result is expected from the match, the coach emphasized that there will be a fierce and brave struggle on the field.
As for the first round matches, both teams were unable to fully showcase their capabilities. According to Bilyaletdinov, “Lokomotiv” was superior to “Krasnodar” in terms of functional preparation.
Although Murad Musayev's team had a good rest, the Moscow club managed to exert pressure against “Sochi” and tire the opponent. “Krasnodar,” on the other hand, played against a relatively weak team, and the victory was achieved through individual skill and effective use of several opportunities.
Bilyaletdinov believes that the break between weeks allows for a reduction in the difference in preparation levels. At the same time, he noted that “Krasnodar” is trying to gradually improve its playing form.
“Lokomotiv” can not only draw away but also achieve victory. “Lokomotiv” forward Dmitriy Vorobyov stated that the team is striving to show a strong performance.
Bilyaletdinov emphasized that these words can only be confirmed by practice. The concept of “dominance” depends on which stage of the game and which field it is occurring on.
The coach stated that “Lokomotiv”’s main advantage lies in good functional preparation. If “Krasnodar” cannot find its form within a week, “Lokomotiv” may demonstrate its strength.
If the leaders of “Krasnodar,” particularly Kordoba and Eduard Spertzyan, show their skills, it will be a great success for the team. In the second half, “Lokomotiv” has the potential to gain an advantage over its opponent.
When discussing “Krasnodar” finishing the season as champions, Bilyaletdinov pointed out that such a result depends on the state of the teams. The opponents also have their problems, although they claim to be strong contenders for the gold medals, achieving such a goal requires a qualified and prepared reserve squad.
Last season, “Krasnodar” achieved this, but “Zenit”’s two home defeats greatly helped them. When asked about “Lokomotiv”’s task of finishing in the top three at the end of the season, Bilyaletdinov emphasized that the attacking line has strengthened.
Now the team has forwards like Vorobyov and Nikolay Komlichenko. Additionally, Aleksandr Rudenko and Zelimxon Bakaev have joined the team.
All of them can improve the “Railwaymen”’s game. Importantly, the team needs to fully understand the game and develop its style, as there are currently some shortcomings.
