The Turin club "Juventus" has rejected the offer from London's "Chelsea" to buy wing defender Kenan Yildiz. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, "Chelsea" was ready to pay up to 68 million euros for the 20-year-old Turkish player, but "Juventus" wants to keep him in their team and has even stated that they are not willing to sell him for a large sum.
In the near future, "Juventus" is expected to offer Yildiz a new contract. The proposal will increase the player's salary from 1.5 million euros to 4 million euros.
Last season, Yildiz played in 52 matches at the club level, scoring 12 goals and providing 9 assists. Thus, "Juventus" is striving to strengthen the young player's position in the team.
