Aleksandr Shikunov, the former sports director of Moscow's "Spartak" team, commented on the emotional behavior of the "red-white" team's head coach Dejan Stankovich. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
According to him, Stankovich was a great player, but it is not appropriate for a coach to display such behavior in such a large club, not only in Russia but also in Europe. He emphasized that this is not "Ferencváros" or "Crvena Zvezda," but Moscow's "Spartak" team.
Stankovich has made the "Crvena Zvezda" team the national champion three times and has won the Serbian Cup twice. Additionally, he was once the Hungarian champion with "Ferencváros."
Previously, the former coach of "Spartak," Stanislav Cherchesov, worked in this team. According to Aleksandr Shikunov, it is very important to be professional and cultured in coaching.
Being carried away by emotions and damaging the team's reputation is unacceptable. Thus, there are critical remarks about Stankovich's activities, emphasizing that he needs to perform his job with more seriousness and responsibility.
