The summer new member of the Moscow "Lokomotiv" team, striker Nikolay Komlichenko, announced that he is ready to sacrifice his goal-scoring record but wants to become the champion of Russia. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
He stated that he has set a goal of scoring at least ten goals this season. He also emphasized that even if he scores less than ten goals, he would be very pleased if "Lokomotiv" secures the championship.
In the new season, "Lokomotiv" has shown excellent results in the first two rounds of the Russian Premier League. In the first round, the team defeated "Sochi" 3:0 at home.
In the second round, "Lokomotiv" won 2:1 against "Krasnodar" away. In the third round, "Lokomotiv" will play against "Pari NN" in Grozny.
