
The Italian Serie A club “Genoa” has signed a contract with Norwegian national team and French club “Rennes” defender Leo Estigord. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The club's official website announced this. The 25-year-old central defender Leo Estigord is a product of Norway's “Molde” club.
He has been loaned to “Genoa” for one season. If the stipulated conditions are met, the club may fully purchase the player.
Estigord has previously played in Italy as well. In 2022, he played on loan for “Genoa”.
In 2023, he became the national champion with the “Napoli” team. Last season, Estigord was on loan at Germany's “Hoffenheim”, participating in 11 matches.
Additionally, he played in 18 matches for France's “Rennes” club, scoring 1 goal. According to Transfermarkt, his market value is estimated at 10 million euros.
