Roberto Mancini is unlikely to be appointed as the head coach of “Besiktas”. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
In recent days, some sources have reported that the famous Italian specialist is being considered by the Istanbul club. However, according to journalist Rudi Galetti, the “Besiktas” management is currently not considering the 60-year-old coach, who is unemployed, among their candidates.
Additionally, the source states that if the club decides to part ways with their current head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, the team management intends to turn to a local specialist. For this reason, the short list of “Besiktas” only includes Turkish coaches.
It is worth noting that Roberto Mancini has not returned to coaching since resigning from the Saudi Arabian national team last autumn. Therefore, his arrival at “Besiktas” is not currently planned.
