Konate compared the championships of Russia and Saudi Arabia

“Ahmat” club forward Moxamed Konate expressed his opinion about the differences between the championships of Russia and Saudi Arabia. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

According to him, there are several high-level clubs in Saudi Arabia. For example, there are teams with strong players like “Zenit.”

However, there are also clubs in Saudi Arabia that any team in the Russian Premier League could easily defeat. At the same time, Konate emphasized that every match in the Russian championship is a battle.

He stated that every game in the Russian league is of great importance and teams put all their effort into winning. Konate also mentioned Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo as the strongest player he faced in the Saudi Arabian championship.

According to him, Ronaldo's level of play and experience is significantly higher than that of other players. Moxamed Konate played for the Saudi Arabian club “Al-Riyad” in the 2024-2025 seasons.

He participated in a total of 27 matches in the local championship, scoring 4 goals. His team finished in twelfth place at the end of the season.
