
Yesterday, at Tashkent time, Moldova's "Zimbru" team hosted Kazakhstan's "Astana" club on their home ground. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

In the 18th minute of the game, "Astana" player Ivan Bashich delivered a high pass into the penalty area from the right side, and Jeffrey Charles sent the ball into the net with a powerful shot, making the score 1:0.
Shortly after, "Astana" organized a quick counterattack. Marin Tomasov carried the ball down the right wing and passed it to the center.
Usman Kamara scored from 12 meters with an accurate shot, increasing the score to 2:0. In the second half, "Zimbru" players tried to reduce the deficit.
Abu Dosso exchanged passes with Denis Kozlovskiy on the left side and took a shot from a sharp angle, but the goalkeeper saved the ball. Viktor Stine also took a shot from 12 meters, but the ball went over the crossbar.
Once again, Stine sent a shot from the left wing to the far corner, but the goalkeeper managed to save it. No more goals were scored in the match, and "Astana" celebrated a 2:0 victory.
Thus, the Kazakh club advanced to the next stage and will compete against either "Vardar" or "Lausanne".
