Spartak has chosen Aleksander Jikun as the main candidate for defense

Spartak team is planning to strengthen its defense line during the summer transfer window. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.

The list of players the club is considering includes not only Galatasaray defender Karlos Kuesta. According to the Championship publication, one of the main candidates for Spartak is Aleksander Jiku, who plays for Fenerbahce.

Experts estimate that the transfer value of 30-year-old Ghana national team defender Aleksander Jiku is 6.5 million euros. His contract with Turkey's Fenerbahce club is valid until the summer of 2026.

Previously, it was reported that Karlos Kuesta wants to earn more than the salary offered by Spartak. The Spartak management is negotiating with several players to strengthen the defense line.
