Former Cameroon national team and "Tom" club head coach Valeriy Nepomnyashiy shared his thoughts on the upcoming match between St. Petersburg's "Zenit" and the capital's CSKA team. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
This match will take place on August 3 as part of the third round of the Russian championship. According to Valeriy Nepomnyashiy, "Zenit" is considered the main favorite in this contest.
He mentioned that he is not fully satisfied with the current state of the CSKA team. In his opinion, CSKA is facing several problems in the attacking line, and difficulties in defense have arisen due to the departure of Roshi.
Nepomnyashiy also noted that playing at home is a significant advantage for "Zenit." Currently, both teams have collected 4 points after two rounds of the Russian Premier League.
In the last six matches, CSKA has only managed to win against "Zenit" once. Therefore, the expert is once again rating "Zenit's" chances highly.
