Russian coach Dmitry Radchenko shared his thoughts on the current season's chances of the "Zenit" team in the Russian football championship. This was reported by Euro-football.ru.
The specialist noted that "Zenit" faced difficulties in finding their game at the beginning of the season. This was due to uncertainties regarding the future of team player Vendel and the transfer of Gerson.
Nevertheless, according to Radchenko, "Zenit" is gradually recovering its position and improving its game. Radchenko specifically stated that "Zenit" is still the main contender for the championship.
According to him, in terms of squad and bench strength, this team is considered the strongest. Additionally, "Zenit" is increasing its chances in every game and striving to improve results.
Currently, according to the results of the Russian championship, after two rounds, the "Lokomotiv" team is in first place in the standings with six points. "Zenit," on the other hand, is in sixth place with four points.
